InBody

This feature is available from version GA2026.19 and in GoActive 2.0.

Description

The InBody integration allows BRP to connect with InBody body composition devices and the LookinBody platform. When enabled, members can view their InBody measurement data, including body composition metrics in the GoActive app.

Prerequisites

For this integration to work, one LookinBody account is needed per facility that has InBody devices Create LookinBody account. The InBody devices is added on the LookinBody account for that facility.

Configuration

Configuration must be done by BRP staff to enable this feature.

Consent Message

Once it has been configured, you can add the message that should be shown when the user gives their consent to connecting to InBody in the app.

Note! A system level consent template is mandatory (not connected to a facility). Facility level templates can be added, as long as there is a system level one.

Accessing InBody Metrics in the app

The InBody Metrics feature is available under My Training → Statistics. Look for the "InBody Metrics" button.

Connecting your InBody account

When you tap the InBody Metrics card for the first time, a bottom drawer appears prompting you to connect.

Option A: User ID

  1. Select the "User ID" tab

  2. Enter your InBody User ID

  3. Select your facility from the dropdown

  4. Tap "Connect"

Option B: Phone number

  1. Select the "Phone number" tab

  2. Check "Use my phone number" to auto-fill, or enter manually

  3. Select country code and phone number

  4. Select your facility

  5. Tap "Connect"

Once connected, you will be taken directly to the InBody dashboard.

Note! To connect to an InBody account, the user must enter the same User ID or phone number used when logging into the InBody machine.

Give consent

When connecting to InBody for the first time, the user must give their consent to continue.

  1. The user taps “Connect”

  2. A dialog appears, prompting the user to accept consent for connecting to InBody.

  3. They will only be able to see their measurement data if they tap “Accept”.

Withdrawal of consent

A given consent can be withdrawn from in the app. If consent is withdrawn, all existing data will be permanently removed.

  1. Go to User profile → Terms and conditions

  2. Uncheck “InBody Consent”.

  3. Since all saved measurement data will be permanently removed once this is done, the user must confirm that they really want to do this.

  4. Tap “Save”.

Dashboard tab

The Dashboard provides a quick snapshot of your most recent measurements:

  • Weight (kg) - with status indicator (Under/Normal/Over)

  • Skeletal Muscle Mass (kg) - with status indicator

  • Percent Body Fat (%) - with status indicator

Below the metrics, an interactive line chart shows your selected metric's trend over time. Tap any metric card to switch the graph view.

Details tab

The Details tab provides an in-depth view of a single measurement with navigation between dates. Use the left/right arrows to browse through your measurement history.

  • InBody Score: Your overall body composition score (0–100 points) is prominently displayed.

  • Segmental Analysis: Toggle between Soft Lean Mass and Fat views to see body composition broken down by segment (Trunk, Left/Right Arm, Left/Right Leg). Each segment displays its percentage and a status label (Under/Normal/Over).

  • Muscle-Fat Analysis: Scroll down to see a comprehensive analysis with status bars for Weight, Skeletal Muscle Mass, and Body Fat Mass.

    • Tap any segment to view a detailed breakdown showing both Soft Lean Mass and Body Fat Mass with status bars. Below the diagram, each segment shows its current measurement in kg and change from the previous measurement.

History tab

The History tab lets you view trends over a custom date range. Tap the date range bar to open the filter drawer.

  1. Select Start Date: Scroll through available measurement dates. The selected date is highlighted. Tap "Next" to proceed.

  2. Select End Date: Available dates are constrained based on your start selection (max 50 data points). Dates outside the valid range appear disabled. Tap "Filter" to apply.

After filtering, view historical graphs for Basal Metabolic Rate (kcal), Total Body Water (L), and other metrics.

Managing accounts

From the InBody screen, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner to open the account options drawer.

  • Link another account - Connect an additional InBody account from a different facility.

  • Show accounts - View and manage all linked accounts.

To remove an account, tap "Remove" next to any account. A confirmation dialog will appear. If you remove your last linked account, you will be returned to the Statistics screen.

Note! If an account is removed, all InBody measurement data will be removed as well. If an account is removed and then added again, we will only be able to fetch data from the latest InBody measurement.

Limitations

  • When connecting to an InBody account, we will only be able to fetch data from the latest InBody measurement. It is not possible to import more historical data.

  • This integration supports facility-level configuration only; system and company-level configuration is not supported.

  • The History tab supports a maximum of 50 data points per filtered range.
