BRP Resource Planner - Introduction

The Resource Planner is the booking module where you can manage various types of bookings, such as group activities and services.

Resource View

The Resource View displays when the resources included in the selected view are scheduled, when they are booked, and which times are still available for booking (marked in white). To the right, you see the Order Panel. When a first booking is created, the panel opens to show what the customer has ordered. You can add more products and then either close the order (to wait for additional items), issue an invoice, or take payment through the cash register.

Selecting a Resource View

Click on the View dropdown to choose from the resource views you’ve created. If you want to see all resources in that view, check the “All” box. This can be helpful when scheduling. Otherwise, only resources that are already scheduled and available for booking are shown.

If you only want to see resources offering a particular service, you can choose that service under “All.” This is also useful for scheduling. Otherwise, only resources that are already scheduled and available for booking will appear.

Layout

There are four different layouts that determine how a view is displayed:

1. Day
   Displays all resources in the view for a single day.

2. Week by resource
   Displays one resource at a time over an entire week.

3. Week
   Displays all resources in the view for an entire week.

4. Month
   Displays all resources in the view for an entire month.

To select a layout, use the dropdown list labeled "Layout:" at the top left of the booking schedule.

The current date is shown in the top right area above the booking schedule.
