Suggested Suspension reasons
The suspension reasons listed below are examples intended to illustrate common use cases. Each organization can customize, add, or remove options to better suit their internal policies and operational needs. The system is flexible to support any categorization you require when suspending members.
Violation of facility rules: Member repeatedly ignored posted rules or staff instructions
Aggressive or inappropriate behavior: Member displayed threatening, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable conduct toward staff or other members
Property damage: Member caused intentional or negligent damage to gym equipment or property
Unauthorized access attempts: Member attempted to enter without valid membership or gave access to others improperly
Unpaid fees or debt: Membership or related fees have not been paid after repeated reminders
Membership fraud: Member used false identity or misrepresented personal details during signup
Misuse of booking privileges: Repeated no-shows or abuse of booking system rules
Hygiene or safety violations: Behavior that put others at health risk (e.g., not following hygiene protocols, using equipment unsafely)
Breach of contract terms: Violation of signed membership agreement or policy clauses
Unresolved conflicts: Member involved in disputes with other members or staff requiring intervention
Suspended pending investigation: Temporary suspension while an incident is being reviewed
Note! If a suspension reason is changed (for example the name), it will be changed for all persons who have been given that suspension reason as well.
