Configure mandatory and requested fields

For some of the fields on the person card, you can now configure if they are mandatory or requested. Requested fields are not required but are marked with a colored frame that indicates to the user that they should always ask the customer for this information. As a part of this, we have changed the system wide style for mandatory fields so they have the same background color.

If no special rules are added for a field, the default value, and any relevant settings, will control if it is mandatory.

In the future, this configuration may also control if values are required on the web and in the app.

First name is always required. Last name was configured to be required. Gender and mobile is requested.

Exceptions

• If the installation is using Norwegian register laws, then last name is always enabled & required for employees/staff.

• It there are customer types with age limits, birthdate always be required in mobility.
