1.2.2 Connection of relay and optocoupler
A relay output can be used to control a turnstile or a door. When a user identifies themselves using a data carrier at a reader connected to the controller and the user is granted access, the configured relay is activated and thus the connected turnstile or door is unlocked.
The relay outputs are connected to the corresponding inputs of the device to be controlled. The supply voltage for this can come from an independent voltage source (depending on the requirements).
A wiring diagram must be created during installation to facilitate the configuration of BRP and also for possible future troubleshooting.
