This feature aims to reduce the amount of time needed to maintain an updated customer profile in BRP, by allowing your users to keep their profile picture up to date. An updated image is important to make sure the correct person is gaining access to your facilities.

Customers will be allowed to Add their very first image, Change their current image or completely Remove their image. This is controlled via settings in BRP, they can be found at the bottom of this page.

There is still an administrative part for your staff, you will need to approve or reject customer images that have been sent to you from the app. You can find the uploaded pictures in Backoffice > Admittance > Approve Profile Images

User flow in the app

Open the menu and navigate to your Personal Data, you can tap on your image or the menu.

Tap on the image directly or click edit first and then the image, you will then be guided through the steps to choose a new image. You can either select an image from the gallery or take a new one with the device camera. The user will be informed that a review process will verify the image before it is updated in the app.


Approving or Rejecting images

Approving the image is done from Back Office

Settings used

  • mobilityAllowProfileImageUpload
    This enables users to upload a new picture or change their current picture

  • allowDeleteProfileImageInApp
    This enables users to delete their profile picture.

  • preventEntrancesWithoutProfileImage
    This prevents users to enter the facility without a profile picture

  • preventBookingWithoutProfileImageOnMobility
    This prevents users from booking group activities without a profile picture

Message Templates

  • Email for approved profile image
    An email with information that user image was approved

  • Email for rejected profile image
    An email with information that user image was rejected

  • Notification when entry is denied without a profile image
    Push notification that lets user know that the entry was denied because they are missing a profile image

  • Push notification for approved profile image
    Push notification with information that user image was approved

  • Push notification for rejected profile image
    Push notification with information that user image was rejected

  • Terms and conditions for updating profile image
    The terms and conditions customers should read and accept, before allowing them to upload a profile picture
