Entrance with both QR and Beacons

Why?

In some places we can´t install a reader that shows a dynamic QR on the outside due to local climate or regulations about what can be placed on the wall etc.

Another saftey issue is that we need to ensure that the person is on the right place and not using video calls etc to transfer QR to a friend thats open the door.

It is possible to mix Beacon, Static QR or Dynamic QR as you want but you must ensure that you have at least one place with at least saftey of dynamic QR. This is just some examples.

We always recommend Dynamic QR in front of Static QR-codes. And we always recomend dynamic QR on doors. A gate that you actally can climb over can have reduced security as well as the ouside door if next door is better protected.

Offline mode can be used with Beacon, Static or Dynamic QR on a reader that supports choosen option. Of cource you need to have PIN and sometimes a display on the reader to make this possible.

You can combine QR and beacons on same door in some environment, please contact BRP for a investigation about a good solution for you.

Notes

Scan for doors (Beacon) cant be disabled in the app at the moment.

Read QR-codes can be disabled in the app.

Static QR-codes can be ordered from support (please notice that thoose always have a last valid date)

Dynamic codes only works with readers that have a display like Gantner GT7

Beacon is totaly standalone and is a unit that can be ordered from BRP.
