Sales per Product
BRP Back Office → Statistics → Sales per product
General Information
This page shows, per product, the quantity and total amount billed at a specific time or over a date range. If multiple facilities are in operation, the “View by Facility” filter provides a breakdown of product sales per facility.
You can choose to search for products based on their debit time or start of booking (the date of delivery/performance). Depending on your choice of search criterion, the results may differ slightly. For products sold at the cash register, the debit time often coincides with the time of delivery.
Search Criteria
Time point choice
Use debit time
Displays products that were debited—i.e., paid at the cash register, online checkout, or invoiced—within the selected date range. Note that the time used is when the billing was processed. Therefore, backdating an invoice date does not affect this search.
Use start of booking
Displays products that are billed at the time of the search and performed (have a start time) within the selected date range. Keep in mind that the product may not necessarily have been billed during the specified interval to appear in the results. BRP searches for products that are already billed when searching by booking start time.
Example:
You deliver a cup of coffee in December but invoice it in January.
Use debit time
The coffee appears as a sale in January.Use start of booking
Because the sales report only shows products that are debited at the time of the search, the coffee will not appear in the report if you run the search before invoicing it. If the coffee is billed at the time of the search, it appears as a sale in December.
Other Search Criteria
A variety of filters are available for selecting which products to include, such as product group or dimensions. If you filter by “Resource,” you only see billed services booked on that resource. To include sales of Value Cards, check “Include value cards.”
Group Variable Products
When “Group variable products” is selected, products within a variable product are presented as a single row. For example, a particular brand of protein bar is grouped rather than shown by individual flavor. (TP40393 / 2023.2003)
Refunds/Cancellations
If a product has been canceled—e.g., in connection with a refund—the link to the salesperson is removed. Thus, you may sometimes see an empty Seller column (shown only when “View by seller” is selected). If the quantity is 0, it means returns/refunds and purchases have canceled each other out.
