Sound settings for BRP Cloud entrance view

There are three different sound settings (go to Configuration module → Settings) that can be used for entrances in Entrance view:

  • Enable success sound at entrance

    • Setting “playSuccessSound” (default false, facility level)

    • Plays when an entrance is successful

  • Enable failure sound at entrance

    • Setting “playFailureSound“ (default false, facility level)

    • Plays when an entrance is not successful

  • Enable important sound at entrance

    • Setting “playImportantSound” (default false, facility level)

    • Plays when the person entering has an unpayed invoice or the person has a message

There was an old setting called “playSound” used by BRP Classic that now is obsolete in Entrance View – it will not be used anymore.

When the Entrance View module is loaded the client will default the sound values based on the settings. The values can be changed using the button called “Sound settings” (displayed in the top right corner, see image 1 below), which will execute a dialog (see image 2 below) that shows the current settings for the Entrance View client. Changing these will affect the client, but as soon as the client is reloaded it will default back to the settings from Configuration module → Settings.
