The staff card is an addition to the Person card for each profile, that will give you more options to manage your staff profiles in comparison to the regular member profiles. The same profile can be viewed from both Back office and Configuration to make sure you have easy access to them for the task you need to do.

The tabs available on both cards: Person, Marketing, Message, Member, Activity, Finance, Invoices, Customer journal, History and Own) are explained in the documentation for Back Office.

The tabs that are only available in Configuration → Staff are: Staff, Facilities and Salary and Comission. Please continue reading to gain more insights in the purpouse and use of those tabs.

Your choice here impacts what your staff can and can’t do in BRP, please see Roles for configuration

Register unit:

Legacy choices, a member of staff should no longer be connected to a specific register unit.

Start view:

When opening Resource planner, what view would be best for this specific staff member? Maybe Classes for one and available PT slots for another.

Resource connection:

This connects your staff to a resource in BRP. Please make sure all staff have this connection to their resources.

Facilities

Access to all companies and facilities

If your staff member should have access to all current and future companies and facilities in your installation, please tick this box. This is common for owners and local system administrators. Explanations can be found in Staff access.

Company:

Add companies your staff member should have access to. This is common if you have employees who can work at any facility in your company. Explanations can be found in Staff access.

Facilities

Add facilities your staff member should have access to. This is common if you have staff that are designated to work at and have acces to only one or a few of your facilities. Explanations can be found in Staff access.
