Booking Rights

General Information

Booking Rights are used to regulate customers’ ability to book services or spots in group activities. These rights are registered under Configuration → Admittance → Rights.

 

  • On the product (service/group activity), indicate which rights are required to book that product.

  • Then assign/connect these rights to the entries or subscriptions that should allow booking of that product.

  • A customer obtains the booking right by purchasing these entries/value cards or subscriptions.

Connect Booking Rights to products

  • Configuration > Products > Products

    • For group activity products (assign the right needed to book): The “Class” tab of the product.

    • For service products (assign the right needed to book): The “Service” tab of the product.

    • For entry products (assign the right that will be given to the person who purchases this entry ticket): The “Entry” tab of the product.

    • For subscription products (assign the right that will be given to the person who purchases this subscription): The “Subscription” tab of the product.

 


Important Notes for Group Activities

If you have attached rights to a group activity (to control whether customers can book it), ensure that the appropriate admittance rights are also linked to this booking right.

  • Configuration → Admittance → Rights / Admittance Rights

  • Configuration → Staff and Resources → Schedules

Here, booking rights are associated with admittance rights containing schedules and readers used for entry through card readers or customer kiosks.

  • If you want to allow booking at all facilities in the installation, do not link any readers to the access right.

  • If you only want to allow booking at certain facilities, link the readers belonging to those facilities to the corresponding admittance right.
