BRP Configuration - Introduction
You will use Configuration to add all your company details (such as organizational and VAT number) as well as all your facilities information (such as email- and street addresses, home pages and invoice address). This information will be used for all reports and receipts created in BRP so make sure they are accurate.
The foundation for all transactions will be created here, with things such as your account plans, payment methods, VAT rates and all products. This includes subscriptions, entrances, value cards, different items (including stock items), services, events, and classes.
Interactions with customers can also be automated here, with the setup of report templates, general messages and marketing activities which all contribute to the communication with your customers being branded correctly with your logos and your own rules and phrasing of information.
In addition to the above mentioned features you will also build your content for your web and app in the Configuration module. Add your images, prioritize what offers should be promoted on the first page and make sure your customers get the best experience in your online booking and purchase flows.
In BRP, the Configuration module will most likely only be used by local system administrators. The level of access and functionality each person gains depends on your setup. Roles, permissions, and custom configurations allow an you to manage who can interact with what, ensuring that staff have the tools they need without compromising security or data privacy.
