BRP Configuration → Company

Company refers to a legal entity with an organization number. Multiple facilities can belong to a company and share common finances and accounting.

A facility can only belong to one company, and a company can have any number of facilities.

The Company Object

A company refers to your own business and is never used to register customers. Your customers' companies are registered as organizations in Back Office → Organizations.

Consolidated Billing Across Multiple Companies

BRP supports consolidated billing for multiple companies regarding direct debit subscriptions, regular subscriptions, and the import of payment files. The factors that determine if facilities from different companies can be consolidated are:

  • For direct debit invoices: they must share the same customer number with BGC.

  • For regular invoices: the companies must have the same bank giro number.

Any reminder fee on direct debit invoices must be the same across all consolidated facilities. Unmatched payments are posted as received on the facility that is active at the time of processing.
