BRP Configuration → Finance

The Finance section is made to make sure you have all the tools you need to create the foundation for your company/companies financial transactions in BRP.

 Pages available in this section

  • Payment mehtod

    • Set up and configure all the payment methods that you will use in BRP. This includes adding options such as credit/debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, or other forms of payment.

Note that all payment mehtods require a contract with an external payment provider and further configuration in BRP.

  • VAT rates

    • Configure all applicable VAT (Value Added Tax) rates in BRP to match the legal requirements of your local tax authority. This is important for ensuring that tax rates are applied correctly when invoicing and for generating accurate tax reports. Depending on your companys location there may be different VAT rates for different products or services. Regularly review and update the VAT rates to stay compliant with changes in tax laws.

  • Account

    • Set up all of the financial accounts that your business uses to ensure that the automatic reports from BRP reflect your account structure accurately. This includes linking accounts for revenue, expenses, liabilities, and other financial categories, so that reports are generated correctly. Make sure that each account corresponds to the right category in your financial system.

  • Dimensions

    • Dimensions in BRP allow you to segment and track data in a more detailed way. Configure your dimensions to reflect how you want to categorize and analyze revenue. This can include tracking by accounts, resources, individual products, cash units, customers, or facilities. Properly setting up your dimensions will help you generate detailed reports, allowing you to make more informed business decisions based on the various segments of your business.

  • Currency

  • BI reports

    • Configure your Business Intelligence (BI) reports by assigning the appropriate staff profiles to access the reports they need. Different team members may require different sets of data to make informed decisions. For example, finance may need access to revenue and expenditure reports, while marketing might need customer analytics.
