Bulk SMS

Let the user send large number of SMS quickly, usually before Christmas or ahead of other events. User example, 70 000 sms receivers, "Do not forget we have 50% off Christmas massages until next year!"

Limitations

Support is limited to the SMS service provided by BRP.

The bulk sms feature is limited to the exact same text (no personalized name or similar) sent to all selected persons.

Configuration

BRP staff can disable the feature with “TEMP_TOGGLE_SendBulkSms”

Rights required

The same right (“SMS”) as the regular "Send SMS" feature.

How to use

Select multiple persons in the person MOV and select Communication > "Send SMS (bulk)" in the menu

If the setting for letting the user withdraw their consent for mass sending of SMS id enabled, that works for this feature.
