Require SSN for Subscriptions
(TP57535 / 2025.02)
There are two settings that allow you to require an SSN when creating subscriptions even if it’s not generally mandatory for all individuals. These settings will require SSN when signing up for a subscription in both Mobility app / web, as well as BRP Point of Sale.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Require SSN (payer) when creating a recurring subscription | The payer will be required to enter their SSN when they buy a recurring subscription. |
Require SSN (payer) when creating a prepaid subscription | The payer will be required to enter their SSN when they buy a prepaid subscription. |
Enter personal information
Set email, password and mark the consent to agreements and conditions
Set up an Autogiro consent (only for the subscriptions with recurring payments)
This step is an important step that is included in this flow, only if the user has selected a subscription with some recurring payments attached to it. For example, this step is more likely to be added for the subscriptions with monthly or yearly payments.
Autogiro is a direct debit scheme for collecting krona-denominated payments from a bank account in Sweden. It's the Swedish equivalent to SEPA Direct Debit in the Eurozone and Bacs Direct Debit in the UK. Autogiro is a popular method for collecting payments in Sweden.
Autogiro is for pull-based payments. The Autogiro system relies on a mandate between the merchant and the customer. Once a mandate has been agreed by the customer, it's the merchant who initiates the payment. Therefore, the customer won't need to interfere and keep track of the payments and the entire collection process can be automated. Autogiro payments are bank-to-bank. The card networks aren't involved in the Autogiro system. All communication happens directly between the banks via the Bankgirot clearing house. So that, anyone with a Swedish bank account can pay by Autogiro, including both businesses and consumers.
Select product additions (only if the selected subscription has attached product additions)
These are simply the goods to be sold and bought along with a subscription. This step will be shown to the users only if the selected subscription includes additional products.
There are several types of product additions too, namely;
Included
Optional Selected
Optional Not Selected
Also, generally some other merchandise which might be important to the users are shown along with the additional products.
Payment confirmation and Payment
View receipt
Here, the user will be shown the receipt for the purchased subscription and he can always revisit all this receipts from My Profile> Settings > Transaction History > Receipts
Get personal data from Vipps (when onboarding with a subscription)
If you have an integration with Vipps, the user will have the option to log in to Vipps to fetch their personal information in the registration process, instead of having to add it manually.
User Flow
After choosing subscription, the user gets to the “Enter personal data” step. The user clicks on “Continue with Vipps”.
The user is redirected to the Vipps where they enter their phone number. After entering their phone number the user is asked to open their Vipps app and log in.
