Entrance sales in Self Service Station

Purpose

Entry tickets can be sold in Self Service Stations with or without capacity (capacity means limiting the number of available entry tickets per day/time slot).

Controls how many days ahead the customer can book entrances in the Mobility app & web and the Self Service Station.

Only allow booking entrances in SSS for X upcoming days

(selfServiceLimitDaysForwardForEntryBooking)

Default value= -1

Controls how many days ahead the customer can book entrances in the Self Service Station (must be equal or lower than limitDaysForwardForEntryBooking)

If the entry product is not configured to use slots, but the setting useSlotsForEntryInSelfServiceStation is enabled, then customer will be able to select from days only:

Pick up wristbands for entrances that was purchased online

(TP51744 / 2023.4904)

This feature offers the possibility to scan the QR code on a self service station for an entrance that was purchased in the Mobility app or web, and then register wristbands for one or all entrances that order (if several entrances were purchased at the same time).

Prerequisites

  • A QR-code reader is configured to the SSS (as the ‘Barcode reader’ on SSS Client settings).

  • A register reader or dispenser is configured to the SSS.

Self service read QR code instructions

Customize the header and description of the “Read QR-code” view.

User flow

  1. Click on “Entrance QR-code” button which appears in the bottom of the product view.

  2. The “Read QR-code” view will appear with a description that tells the customer to scan the QR-code of the entrance (found in the app or e-mail order)

  3. Once the QR-code has been read, wristbands for the entrances will either be dispensed (if a dispenser is used) or needs to be read in the register reader. The user may skip registration of the wristbands by clicking on the “skip over” button.

Limitation

It is not possible to enable both settings “useUuidInsteadOfBarcode” and “useUuidForEntrance” at the same time. To enable this feature, the setting “useUuidForEntrance” must be disabled.
