Pre-configured Roles

The roles that have been pre-configured in BRP are:

  • Administrator: Has the right to change settings and create new products.

  • Booker: Can register customers and make bookings.

  • Viewer: Can view information but cannot add new or make changes.

Create New Roles

You can customize the pre-configured roles or create new ones. For each role, select one or more user rights.

A role can be created at system level or connected to a company or facility.

  • You can only assign companies and facilities to roles that you have access to.

  • The role can only be set to system level (no company/facility) if the you have rights to objects at system level.

  • You can only assign roles to other users if they belong to the your facility, the facility’s company, or the system level.

Rights to Assign Roles to Other Users

Under the "Can assign these roles" section for a role, you can specify which roles a particular role can assign to employees.

If you wish to allow the possibility to assign all current roles and also roles that may be added in the future, check "Can assign all roles" instead.

"Is API Integrator" (Advanced)

Check this for roles that are to be used for API integration. API integrators function differently and use different rights compared to regular users, as they have a different scope of usage. For example, an API integrator account cannot log in to the app or website.

Rights

Anyone with permission to use BRP has access to all information in the system and printing capabilities.

To allow your staff to manipulate specific information, you will have to give them rights to do so. Roles that have not been granted any of the rights listed below can view and print all information but cannot make any changes to it.

Inactivity time on role

(TP43397 / 2022.4101)

Inactivity time, after which the user is logged out, can be set on role. However, if there is an inactivity time set on the client, that has priority. If there is no inactivity time set on the client or the role, the inactivity time for the default client is used.
