Schedules

BRP Configuration → Staff and resources → Schedules

General Information

A schedule specifies the times during which a resource is bookable (if a resource doesn’t have a schedule, it can still be opened with a work shift). A schedule can also be used to control the times when an access right is valid and to have differentiated prices on different days within a price list, for example, weekend prices. We recommend that resources, access rights, and price lists have their own schedules, but if the times match an existing schedule, this can be used.

Within each schedule, one or more schedule periods can be defined. These cannot overlap and specify a time period when certain schedule times are valid, e.g., Spring Semester 2025. When new times should apply for a group of resources, a new schedule period can be created within the schedule, thus eliminating the need to go into each resource and change the schedule.

Select which facility this schedule is for (optional).

Schedule periods:

At least one schedule period must be specified, otherwise the booking view for the resources associated with this schedule will remain gray, as no allowed booking time (opening hours) has been set. This is the same as if no schedule has been specified. Click on the plus sign to create one.

Start day:

The date when the schedule starts to apply.

End day:

The date when the schedule ends.

Weeks:

The number of weeks to be scheduled, i.e., specify the number of different weeks in the schedule period before it repeats. If multiple weeks are to be scheduled (rolling schedule), this is specified here to open the same number of schedules in the "box below." For each day in the schedule period, the start and end times are specified.

Deviations:

For example, New Years Eve. The exception can either involve different opening hours or complete closure. An exception can apply to only one schedule or globally to all schedules.
