BRP Configuration → Products → Product labels

General Information

Product labels are used to define a predetermined selection of products, for example in planning lists.

Products from all product types can be included in the same product label, and a single product can belong to multiple product labels.

Create a Product Label

1. Go to BRP Configuration → Products → Product Labels.

2. Click on the + button.

3. A new dialog window will open.

4. Enter name, internal description (optional).

5. Choose if the product label should be used by BRP Cloud only, API (developer only) or API (visible in Mobility).

6. When you have finished setting up your product label, click Save or OK to confirm.

Use product labels in the app and web

The user can now choose the "Class" filter in the app and web, in which you can use product labels to group different classes. By grouping similar classes together, the user will be able to quickly find the class they are looking for instead of having to scroll through a long list.

To configure this, choose which product labels you would like to show in the app and web, and add these labels to the different products you would like to group together.

Rename a Product Label

1. Go to BRP Configuration → Products → Product Labels.

2. Click on the relevant product label.

3. Change the name as needed, then click Save or OK.

Delete a Product Label

You cannot delete a label that contains products. For each product included in the product label, you must first remove that label from the product (see below in this document).

1. Go to BRP Configuration → Products → Product Labels.

2. Select the product label you want to delete.

3. Click the Trash can icon. The product label is now deleted!

Add or Remove a Label on a Product

1. Go to BRP Configuration → Products → Products and search for the desired product.

2. Link the product to the product label by clicking the Pencil icon in the Product Labels field under the Basic Information tab.

3. A new window will open. Here, you can choose which labels this product should be associated with.

   • Labels on the left side are available to be added.

   • Labels on the right side are those the product is already linked to.

4. To add or remove a product label, check the box next to the label and use the arrows to move it between the two lists.

5. Save your changes or click Cancel if you wish to abort the edits.

Which Products Are Included in a Product Label?

You can filter products by a specific label using the product list (BRP Configuration → Products → Products).
