General Information
An event is a recurring or one-time activity with a limited number of spots. To register for a spot, the participant pays a fee that covers all sessions in the period. If recurring events are held (i.e., multiple groups), only one event product is needed, provided the event name and price remain the same.
Example:
Erik pays 900 SEK for a spot in the swimming class. He is placed in group SIM03, which meets every Tuesday evening from 2024-08-26 to 2024-10-21. The cost is fixed, regardless of how many sessions Erik actually attends.

Admittance
Passage from start to end date of event
Allows participants and companions to enter during the time period in which the event is taking place, with verification against the selected entry right.
Passage according to bookings of order
Allows participants and companions to enter only during active service bookings linked to the event, with verification against the selected entry right.
You can also allow entry a certain number of minutes before the service booking starts and after it ends. If no value is specified for Minutes Before or Minutes After, the system defaults to 0 minutes.
Rights
An entry right must always be chosen when enabling entry for events.
Admittance types
Used for statistical purposes. Determines which entry types will be assigned for the entries of participants vs. party.
Who Can Enter
Participant
Uses the participant’s card number (if it is linked to a person), or mobile entry.Booker (e.g., the parent if the participant is a child)
Uses the booker’s card number (if it is linked to a person), or mobile entry.Card number
Within an event’s participant list, there are fields for Card participant. A companion could be, for instance, a parent if the participant is a child. A card number must be specified for the participant/person to be able to enter using the event’s entry right.
Product addition
Product additions configured on the event product (not the event itself) appear as possible add-ons when booking in BRP Mobility.
